The hotel is conveniently located just off the A5 and approximately one mile from the centre of Shrewsbury. It is ideally placed as en-route stop over for travellers to North Wales and the ferries to Ireland (from Holyhead) but also as a base to explore Shropshire and the surrounding borderlands.

There is one first floor  wheelchair accessible bedroom which is spacious and has an en-suite level access shower. The hotel has its own restaurant adjacent to the main reception area and there is also a designated accessible toilet on the ground floor.
