The park covers approximately 103 acres of semi natural ancient woodland which has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and Local Nature Reserve (LNR). Also on site is a 67 acre arboretum with over 500 rare and exotic trees in an attractive parkland setting.

The park is a beautiful peaceful place to visit at all times of the year but is especially pretty in Spring as the photo shows and during the Autumn when the trees are changing colour.

The buggies are free to hire and pre-booking is advised to avoid disappointment. N.B. Proof of identity will be required when registering to use them.
