Comments

The outdoor bowling here caters for people with disabilities as it has access to wheelchairs suitable for the hallowed turf. Having been shown the different entrances to the greens, one being a fairly steep slope and the other quite flat I went down and transferred to the clubs adapted chair. I was then taken onto the green, given a jack and four bowls and after a short induction allowed to have a go. It was great I got three of the four bowls close to the jack, I enjoyed it so much I wouldn't mind having another go. The staff here are very friendly and happy to help you in any way they can to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. If you have ever fancied having a go at flat green bowling get along there or to your local club (if they have the facilities) and have a go, you might become a champion bowler!!by Frank Napper on 04 August 2013
