This large self catering property owned by the Charity 'Ty Glyn Davis Trust' was primarily created as a 'bunk house' style holiday home for groups of children and young people with disabilities. As there are so few properties with such excellent adaptation and facilities for accessibility needs within the UK, the Trust has now extended their original remit. Groups of people of any age and individual families with members with a disability are now able to take advantage of this unique holiday venue.

Sleeping up to 16 people, there are a variety of rooms to cater for most needs including two singles, rooms containing bunk beds, a double and a triple room, as well as one twin room with a profiling bed. The sleeping areas are located at either end of the property separated by the large open plan living area and kitchen in the middle. This unusual configuration could suit two families wishing to stay on holiday together and share the cost. A floor plan showing the layout is available on the facilities page of their own website which is linked above.

As well as a shower room with wet-room facilities (see photo 6), there is a main bathroom that includes an adult sized changing bed and ceiling mounted, tracking hoist which runs over the changing bed and toilet to the bath and shower (see photos 7 and 8).

In addition there is great outside space with a designated barbecue area with seating and a large patio with table and chairs. A hard surfaced pathway leads down through woodland and over a stream to the most unique part of the this holiday experience, the enchanting 'secret garden' which is cared for by local volunteers and was also entrusted to the Charity. For more information about the garden including photos please click here.
