The Falls of Truim

This year (September 2008) we have been able to extend our research of Scotland, so we now have two areas for you to look at.  However we hope to carry out more research soon, as Scotland has a wealth of accessible accommodation to offer and a wide variety of attractions to visit as well as glorious scenery.

The area we chose to visit first was Badenoch and Strathspey which lies within the Cairngorms National Park. As you will see it is a place of great contrast both in its quickly changing weather and in its landscape from the wild mountain peaks to the peaceful fertile valleys.

The picture above shows the picturesque Falls of Truim situated near Newtonmore in the Highlands.

Our second area is Dumfries and Galloway in the western borders. This area has its own unique charm and will particularly appeal to those who enjoy heritage and countryside sites as it has a wealth of castles and accessible trails and birdwatching opportunities.

For those needing care or nursing provision whilst on holiday in Scotland, Nurse Plus based in Central Scotland may be able to assist.
