Cheshire
Trentabank Reservoir in the Macclesfield Forest
Cheshire is an amazingly diverse county which offers visitors a wealth of stunning countryside and a wide variety of visitor attractions from world renowned gardens and historic heritage to family orientated days out.
It has an excellent selection of accessible accommodation whether you prefer a vibrant city break in a hotel in Chester, stylish B & B establishments within easy reach of both the city and more rural locations or self catering properties set in peaceful countryside.
As well as providing a memorable holiday experience within the county, depending on which area you choose Cheshire is also an excellent base from which to explore Liverpool, Manchester, the Derbyshire Peaks, the Shropshire Hills, Snowdonia and North Wales.
For more detailed accessibility information about each attraction and accommodation we have featured please click on the 'more info' link by each entry.
To refine your search we have chosen to divide the county into the new local authority boundaries (and accessible trails). Please choose from the pages above to highlight a selection of places to visit and stay that our researchers have visited in each area.
We have tried to offer a reasonably comprehensive selection but please note that there will be other accessible places we have not visited so check out the Discover Cheshire website for further information.
